How long does it take to get started?

Nothing to install. BharatBill runs in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone; sign in with Google, your email or your mobile number.
Four short steps before your first bill: Company Profile (name, address, GSTIN, logo), Bank Accounts, Customers, and Ledger Heads, which come ready-made. Most people are billing within about ten minutes.
For a shop counter, a barcode scanner (any USB or Bluetooth one that types like a keyboard) and a 58 mm or 80 mm thermal printer are optional. No special POS machine is needed.
There is no setup fee.

Will someone show me and my staff how to use it?

Yes. The demo is your first session: we walk through it on your kind of products and help you set up your company.
Inside the app, the Smart Guide answers “how do I…?” on every screen, whenever you need it.

Moving your data

Can I bring my data from Tally, Excel or another software?

There is no one-click import from another package, and we will not pretend otherwise.
What you need on day one is your opening position: opening balances for cash and each bank account, what each customer and supplier owes, and opening stock for the items you count.
Your item list builds itself as you bill: type an item once and its rate, GST, HSN code and unit fill in next time. There is no catalogue to type up first.
Moving a long list of items or customers? Tell us what you use today when you book, and we will go through what can be brought across, and how, before you pay anything.

Raise an issue from the Support screen inside your account and attach screenshots. Your account details go with it, so you only describe the problem.
